Many years ago, I met a woman who gave me an opportunity and she changed the trajectory of where my life was headed.
In the years that followed, life presented many traumas and situations that allowed me to grow significantly, in unimaginable ways.
Recently, I discovered that I was subconsciously doing the work with others that she had done with me.
She saw me when I felt invisible and she heard me when I felt unheard.
She challenged me in ways that felt impossible and she held me accountable for my choices.
Our paths managed to cross one more time, just a few months before she passed away.
I told her about my life and shared all the highlights! We laughed and we cried.
I thanked her for the impact she had upon my life.
Her name was Robin Diaz.
